Sorry to my sister who patiently (well sort of impatiently) awaited pics of my new hair do. It turned out wonderful as always by Joy Beecher. I even put a photo of it all messed up in here. I'm just not really the take a model picture of myself type of person. This post is more about fishing, more so my love-hate relationship of fishing with my husband.

pretty girl! |
Kyle bought me a new
Fly Girl rod and whatayaknow, it's pink! Kyle tries so desperately to teach me to fish, but as a true Harrell girl, I insist that I know more than he does and typically each trip ends with anger and resentment for showing me how to cast. Nonetheless, my loving husband continues to be calm and understanding with me, and of all the many outdoor adventures we partake in, it's one of the only we do together and I love him for his patience with me. I caught more than he did!
Living in Spearfish has taught us to appreciate everything we have around us. For awhile, I know Kyle missed the bigger waters of Wyoming, but who says you can't be a fly fisherman and a fly fisherman's wife in little Spearfish Creek? Just a short drive from our home is a cute little fishing hole with tons of browns. The best part? Minimal trees for me to get hung up in.
Looking forward to fishing all summer with my handsome fishing instructor.
